The staff was very attentive and helpful. I ended up ordering something different than I had originally planned, but it was delicious nonetheless. Overall, no complaints about my meal. View all feedback.
What Dave Gates doesn't like about India Village Takeaway:
The food was wonderful, the service was excellent and we had a lovely time. The deduction of two stars is purely due to a manager shouting at a young lad who was working there. He may have made a mistake, but it's unacceptable to treat people that way, irrespective if they are employed by you or not. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner View all feedback.
We had dinner at this restaurant and the price per person was between £20-30. The food was exceptional, we would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was also excellent, receiving a 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great as well, earning another 5 out of 5. We highly recommend trying the House Specialities Meat Thali, Chicken Tikka Starter, Pilau Rice, and Poppadom.
This is the only Indian restaurant in Woodhall Spa, located in a busy area with street parking available right outside. I ordered takeout and found the service to be very efficient. The curry was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5 and the service a 5 out of 5. The prices are reasonable, ranging from £1-10 per person for takeout.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. It's worth making a reservation, even on a Monday evening. The service is quick and accommodating to any requests for adjustments to the menu. All the dishes are of top quality and freshly prepared. I particularly enjoyed the spicy curry, which had the perfect balance of flavor and heat without being overly spicy. The portions of rice and naan bread were just right - not too heavy or greasy, but light and fluffy. The service was prompt, friendly, and not intrusive. It's a shame we don't live closer to this restaurant.
The restaurant was bustling, a good indication of its popularity. The food was excellent, and I opted to try a new curry dish instead of my usual choice. I was not disappointed – it was delicious, and the service was great with very friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. The overall rating was 5 out of 5 for food, service, and atmosphere, making it a fantastic dining experience. The average cost per person for dinner was between £60-70.
