What Ray Ho doesn't like about Adelphia Events:
We had a great time on the dance floor inside outside, the music was great! Now, in regards to the staff especially a server named Jessica. She was very rude and unprofessional she didn't even want to answer a question for our party. The food was just OK.. We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy, the staff was very unorganized and made the whole atmosphere chaotic. We would definitely revisit Aldelphia's aga... View all feedback.
I haven't been here for a few years. Service was great, I ordered the main rib, I had not expected it to be as big as it was. Let's say it took 2 days to finish it. It was perfectly seasoned the roasted vegetables was on point. As you see in the pictures, I had set the steak knife next to the main rib to give you an idea of how long it really was. I was happy with her portions and I recommend eating by for a bite.
The visit for the first time is large and beautifully decorated. The menu for vegetarians is limited. I had avocado toast with well-made egg. My husband had Baja fish taco, which was delicious. The portion size is large. We also had chocolate fudge cakes that were freshly baked and was super delicious.
I started to do this to help the business during the Kovid closure and not for recognition, so it hurts me to write some things about my experiences on every institution I visit. Hopefully, the team can read about it and improve their services. This is one of my favorite restaurants that said my salad was very fresh, and I love the idea of combining ingredients. My other order was not so tasteful. My order came with baked potatoes and I was not informed that they were out of it, my waiter brought my food and then told me that the kitchen was only informed that they were out of it and so decided that I served potatoes for me. Seriously? How does a facility like Adelphia make a mistake of 101 of a restaurant business? Secondly, my steak was boiled excessively, tasteless and just under the standard I love about these places. My asparagus was also Saggy and tasteless. I'm very disappointed. I know it's better. See you next time.
One of the best things about a trip to NewJersey is the big restaurants. We met the jackpot with the Adelphia. This Greek revival restaurant had a huge menu and a very efficient waitress. Loved the fish and gyro. The soup was great. It was just fantastic!
Adelphias is somewhere I like to frequent. It’s great for a quick drink, happy hour specials, a nice dinner for a family outing, weddings or other events, dance floor music, really any type of occasion. I have been here many times. The quality of meals is fairly above average. The specials are awesome. The Long Island iced teas are especially made great. The ambiance is very nice and neutral. The only thing I can say that I don’t particularly favor about the establishment is that they have a high turnover rate of serving staff. They are not careful enough in the hiring process, I’m almost sure you can get hired without much or any serving experience under your belt. This is something I especially dislike in the industry because service is supposed to be the head of your experience when dining out. It floods the industry with people looking for quick, daily cash that are not particularly suited for the job/industry. There has been a couple times where I had had servers that had absolutely zero personality. That is not what I believe the service hospitality industry to be. That being said, some of the bar tending staff are familiar faces. A couple of the managers are recognizable and the owner has a presence in the establishment. Overall, this place just about has it all! Kudos. Side note: Nick who now tends bar at the establishment has been there for years and is wonderful!
