I'm not a huge fan of thick pizzas, but this one was quite good. We got the pepperoni and it was perfectly salty and the doll was nice and chewy and we also got some rigatoni pasta which was good as well. The tomato sauce is quite unique as it doesn't quite taste like pasta sauce, but it taste more like a tomato soup, which sounds kind of weird, but it was very tasty and almost addicting. The service style is you walk... What Patrick Tomasso doesn't like about Ricci's Pizzeria Sandwich Shoppe:
Truly the most bland and undercooked pizza I think I’ve ever had. Pizza Nova in the same plaza is better, and cheaper. $41 for a caeser salad and 3 topping 16”? No thanks. Skip. View all feedback.
Food is always amazing. Served quickly and always fresh.
Do I have a story for you.My friends and I ordered take-out. We 're a large group of 7 with some specific orders so I wrote everything down and ordered over the phone. I say my order slowly to ensure there 's no mix ups. Lady on the phone continuously asks Is there anything else? Without repeating my order at any point. When I ask her about the total, she informs me that I 'll find out when I pick it up. Strange but okay. We hang up. We pick it up and bring it back. Lo and behold, we 're missing an order but were still charged for it. I call. They ask us to either drive back to pick up the food or have it delivered. We request to have it delivered as we don 't want to make another trip. She says they can do that whenever their driver gets back. I ask for an eta. She says she can 't answer that but they close at 9:30 (it 's currently 8:30). That means our order may very well be sitting for an hour before we can get it. No offers for any compensation but at this point we just want to get what we paid for. The food comes 35mins later after we 're all done eating. Fine. Few days later. I take another look at the receipt and realize they 've overcharged us for a sauce and ingredient we never asked for. Which could 've been avoided if the lady had just repeated our order back to us.Pasta was decent (panzerotti seemed better with the group) but this experience has turned me away completely.
Amazing pizza by the slice or by the pie! Go to place in Woodbridge.

It took maybe 10 minutes for the food to come out and overall the service was quite good. But keep in mind this is a casual dining environment and the food is Alsco quite casual.
Ricci’s is an extravagant Italian restaurant where they have so many delicious options to choose from. I got their chicken parmesan sandwich, cheese panzerotti, and a pepperoni panzerotti. I have to say that both panzerottis were soooooo good and the tomato sauce on the side is a must. Also, their chicken Parmesan sandwich, every bite was cheesy and amazing. An amazing lunch spot with good portions. A must try in the Woodbridge area.
