Klinger's - Wood River

Charged 22.00 for 2 meals no drinks subbed onion chips for fries cost 2.50 subbed fries for overdone cheese curds for another 2.50 charged deluxe price no onion lettuce or tomato what a rip off !!!

Wood River, Nebraska is a small town with very little to do, BUT, Klinger's restaurant is a good clean place to enjoy a dinner and see some of the locals. There were 4 of us in town together and we were each happy with what we ordered.

Friendly staff great food. Daily specials are delicious.

If you're ever in Wood River I'd recommend eating here rather than driving to Grand Island or Kearney. One of the things I like most about this place is the local feel. Every one knows each other and they talk about sports or their farms. The food is not anything extravagant or over the top, just expect to eat some average American Food such as Hamburgers and Steaks. And if you're from out of town the locals are very friendly and nice. Nebraskans love to talk!

I stopped in today for lunch. The special was green bean casserole. I thought, Why not? Sounds good! I wasn 't disappointed. Good serving size. Filling. Homemade. A very hearty helping of food. The waitress was excellent. Klinger 's is great. Thanks!
