We were passing through on our way back home from Chicago and decided to stop and eat at this restaurant on a whim. Overall, it was a fantastic spot! The food was delicious, especially the mushrooms which were a must-try. I also recommend the jalapeño beer. Our server, Andrea, was lovely. If we ever pass through again, we will definitely return. Thank you for the great food and wonderful service.

We had a delicious meal at Roots! Our server was attentive and efficient. We tried the loaded Mac 'n' cheese (cheese capellini pasta, pulled pork, speck) which was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing, as well as the meatloaf (made with ham, mozzarella, and tomato sauce rolled in the middle) which was delicious, especially paired with garlic carrots. We saved room for dessert and shared a slice of homemade brown sugar cream cake. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Roots!! Our server was attentive and efficient. We saved some of our leftovers for the next day so we could share a slice of homemade brown sugar cream pie. We highly recommend this fantastic restaurant!! We will definitely be returning!

We had never visited this restaurant before, but decided to make the trip from Watseka, IL to Wolcott just to try it out. What prompted us to travel so far, you may wonder? After carefully considering all the reviews, which are overwhelmingly positive, we were impressed by the owner's personal responses to feedback. Based on everything we have seen about the restaurant and its staff, it appears very promising.

Attended a company Christmas party at this restaurant and enjoyed the great selection of steaks, prime rib, and sides. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was also fantastic. The price per person ranged from $20 to $30. I rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. I recommend trying the Garlic Mashed Potatoes.
