nice restaurant, well placed. And a little pleasure at the table. For me, it was a "Lamb bear ... 7 hours" anyway. 7 hours!just to thyme. And it was good!with a black pinot of sparr, not bad either. So do as we ... let chance take you there. And finally not so expensive. View all feedback.
What Emilie Schneider doesn't like about Au Petit Dominicain:
and after advice, we went to the small Dominican tonight. in all 3 clients (including us). Reception correct.Meetings with the map. Entrance worthy of a large surface cafeteria. : a part of onion pie warms and banal (even not a salad sheet in decoration!!!), a hot goat salad with honey . or was honey . no research in the presentation. resistance dish: veal rognon mustard sauce with ancient and rice: rognon too cooked... That is locally liked by a pretty atmosphere. we ate the court of the day. noodles with sweet and truthan. unfortunately without special aromen or raffinesse. more home cooking. on the other hand, the muddles are well prepared with a well perfumed sud.
I normally drive to Wissembourg once a month when I am off from work - I really enjoy the drive mostly around countryside and forests. I have met very friendly people there and I love to eat at Le Petit Dominicain. The owner (originally from Switzerland) is extremely friendly and very accommodating always. I love my Escargots of Course.. Great atmosphere to sit, relax, meet other travelers., the visit to The Cathedral is a MUST. There is a beautiful park where one can sit and listen to small concerts-- what a pleasure..
Relatively positive advice in the end even if there are some small things to say. in 2 words the waitress is friendly but does not know how to explain the dishes and even less to put them forward, do not necessarily hold what you order. She's nice. We're on top. The dishes are correct but not transcendent. Nothing to add!
I was there with a group of friends, some of whom wanted to eat only a little bit, but others also several walks. all the dishes were tasty and it was also asked whether the petties should be served together with the main dishes, or with the appetizers. I'd come back in the opposite direction if I were back in the opposite.
After over a decade to visit again in wissembourg. Unfortunately, this was local where I actually wanted to go, closed in the evening, so I chose "au petit dominicain". you speak French and German, very pleasant! I chose shrimpscocktail on avocado and a chicken in the many, from which I only see when it was the whole chicken. wow! but it was a small, delicate chicken, so I had to think again if I don't want to be more ordained when I saw the upwardly stretched wing. the thought did not last long, because I had hunger and had been waiting for the chicken for more than 45 minutes. it was tender, well seasoned and excellent. Unfortunately, the pommes were too hot, too greasy and tasteless not so culinary, so I had to leave them standing. but the red wine from the region devastated for everything. he was excellent, 14.5% and very pleasant in the finish, so that two bottles had to be picked up immediately. highly recommended as always everything in wissembourg! always worth a trip!
