El Asador - WISCONSIN DELLS

We came upon this while walking and decided to give it a shot. I was shocked to read the reviews on here! We thought it was delicious. We love hispanic food and this was phenomenal! We will absolutely be back! Service was fantastic. Cheapest dinner we had all week! No leftovers, perfect entree size!... UPDATE: 1 year later and my review stands! This place was AMAZING . It was very busy. We were told we could sit but would need to wait about 10 minutes for a server. Fine by me. We could look at the menu and decide what we wanted and sit in a comfy booth. Service was fantastic, food was phenomenal. Prices were great, selection was huge. No complaints whatsoever from us! We will be back again, no doubt about it!!

If you are looking for delicious Mexican cuisine, this is the perfect spot to visit! The service was exceptional, especially when the owner personally greeted us at our table and handed us the menus. I cannot praise the food enough! It was perfectly cooked, the temperature was just right, and the presentation was mouthwatering. If you request hot sauce, they bring out two spicy options that really pack a punch. We will definitely be returning!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at El Asador. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we were seated quickly as it was near closing time. The food arrived promptly after we ordered, and the complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch while we waited. The dishes were well-prepared, visually appealing, and delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced with fresh ingredients and spices. While I can't compare it to authentic Mexican cuisine, I can say it was some of the best Mexican food I've had in Wisconsin. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip to Wisconsin Dells.

I am pleased that we did not read any reviews before deciding to dine at this restaurant. We arrived around 7 on a Friday evening, looking for a new place to try. As we drove down the street, we spotted this place and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm, friendly, and attentive service. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and we only spent $40 for the both of us, which I believe is a fair price. The chips and salsa that were served initially were tasty (not the "water with a little spice" as someone else mentioned). The two homemade salsas that came with our meal were also delicious. Overall, we were very satisfied with our dining experience.

Hands down best mexican food I have ever had!!!!! Atmosphere is great,food is DELICIOUS, margaritas are DELICIOUS, the staff is friendly, fast and came back many times to make sure we liked the food. We never waited on drink refills or chips and salsa refills the server and owners were on it! You will absolutely not be disappointed if you go here!
