Mayflower Chinese Takeaway - WIRRAL

We have been ordering a Christmas Eve banquet every year for about 10 years now. The food is always beautiful and we can't wait to order this year's banquet.

I always enjoy the food at this restaurant. The classic chips, chicken curry, and special fried rice are all delicious. I also recommend trying the spring rolls with sauce.

Horrendous. Ordered shredded beef, was given shredded no beef. Just hard batter. Straight in the bin. Meal i ordered prior was a beef dish and was kung po , came with no vegetables when it should of. Last 3 meals have been attrocious. Local or not i wont be going again. Getting worse by the visit.

I ordered a king prawn curry with fried rice. I was really looking forward to it as I love Chinese curry. I got 10 king prawns in the sauce with some onions mushrooms. I didn't think 10 was bad. But the king prawns weren't great. There was no flavour to them whatsoever. I may have been eating anything. The curry sauce was also quite thin for a curry sauce. I just feel it wasn't worth the money £7.80. On the plus side the fried rice was delicious. Based on this visit I won't be ordering from this Chinese again. What a mistake
