I am very grateful for Dom's plant-based cuisine. When they were Mozzarella Fellas, the menu was truly amazing. It is much smaller now, but still good. I hope they will continue to expand it to bring back its former glory. I miss how delicious their calzones and pizzas were. Dom's cannot be beat for some of the best Italian red sauce besides my grandmother's. However, the last time I had the marinara, it was unfortun... View all feedback.

Wanted to love this place. Love the mission and focus. Need some work on basic customer service and timing. Food was supposed to be ready at 6:48. 20 minutes later, got the food. got home and discovered that they provided the wrong burger. American Mary supposed to have queso and bakin Had neither. $16 for a beyond burger I could get at Burger King for $6. View all feedback.
Please note that I am not vegan, so I am not rated for this category. just let others know that the Yelp photos I used to decide where to eat, dated and not relevant to this restaurant. we were very confused to find out how we ordered.
On a rainy day during the week, we drove to Winston to try out this spot. I made reservations, but it seemed unnecessary upon arrival. Decor was cute. Mask not worn by waitress, whom was very friendly and knowledgeable, didn't make me too happy. Everyone else wore one. Ordered the cauliflower appetizer. A-mazing. Asked for some hot sauce and with the Alabama dipping sauce this was perfection. The crunch on the cauliflower was just awesome. Ordered two entrees the pumpkin lentil loaf and gnocchi. Unfortunately they don't have the carbonara anymore which was what I planned on having. The gnocchi was not good to me. The sauce had an interesting consistency and after taste that I simply didn't find enjoyable. The lentil loaf was a play on meatloaf. It was okay by itself, but with hot sauce, the well cooked greens and mashed potatoes and cauliflower was good. Vegan food is typically more costly, but I did expect better execution based on this being a plant based restaurant and the cost of the food.
I am new to the Winston-Salem area, and was happy to learn about Dom's. I've had Dom's three times, two of which were take out. 1. I ordered the Korean BBQ Cauliflower and the Spicy Mac Cheese. I placed me order online, drove to the restaurant, and when I arrived, my order was ready for pickup. 20 minutes from order to pickup. I loved that! I highly recommend the Korean BBQ. The Spicy Mac Cheese was dry. 2. I ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower and the fries. Again, I placed me order online, drove to the restaurant, and when I arrived, my order was ready for pickup. 20 minutes from order to pickup. I was not pleased with my options. There was no flavor. Breading used for the Buffalo Cauliflower was bland. 3. Last night for dinner, my wife and I decided to give Dom's one more shot. We want to support local, especially the restaurants that are plant based, as there are not many. During these times, it's important to hold a lot of grace as restaurants are understaffed and still working to navigate high turnover rates while also functioning. AND as a guest, it's important to feel welcomed and cares for. Overall, we had a pleasant experience with the staff. It was very clear that the host and the servers were very flustered. The restaurant was at about 40% capacity. Our server was as sweet as pie, but frequently forgot things like our cocktails and even gave our food to the wrong table. This was a little frustrating as there weren't many people at the restaurant. Eating at Dom's in person is something I highly suggest over takeout. My wife ordered the pizza and had plenty to take home it was delicious. I ordered the Piccata and would order it again. Overall I do believe we would go to Dom's again. I suggest that people going during dinner make a reservation. Although it wasn't packed, and they seat walk-ins, the host got really flustered when those without reservations ask to be seated. Ironically, most of the tables with reservations markers on them were empty. Over time we hope they continue to work out the kinks, and consider adding more fresh produce to the menu.
Just moved from out of state and found this place. Let me tell you, they've made a lifetime customer out of me! Stocking up on a few dinners, I got the Vegan Chik'n and BBQ Sandwich, Spicy Macaroni and Cheese, Baked Beans on the side, Ranch salad, and the Lemon Thyme Vanilla Cake. Everything was AMAZING! Both sandwiches had a perfect amount of spice, and the texture was the first time I've really found something that was close to the real thing. But I especially loved the Chik'n sandwich. The Mac n Cheese ain't playin'-it is definitely spicy! I loved it, but if you can't handle spicy food like my husband you may want to skip this lol. Their ranch dressing was perfection, and I really enjoyed how different the lemon dessert was. I also appreciated that they actually followed my special instructions on what I didn't want on there, and having things on the side so it wouldn't get mushy when I ate it later. The staff too is very friendly which can really make a difference! I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to go back and try more!
Awesome service and food. Definitely going back to eat at the establishment..Korean cauliflower must have .....burgers are to die for
