Salisbury House Family - Winnipeg

Haven't been to the Salisbury House for years and wasn't expecting very much after being away so long. Miracle of miracles, our visit was exceptional and, I believe, much better than my best memories of a Winnipeg favorite. Clean with super friendly, professional staff, and excellent food made our visit exceptional. I can't believe that I have missed visiting for so long and I am disappointed in my expectation level but super happy that I'm back and Salisbury House is at the top of their game. Our server was dynamic, attentive, and very friendly while keeping us topped up with excellent coffee. Breakfast at Salisbury House has become my new standard of measurement and I pity the competition being compared to this gem.

This restaurant is a Winnipeg treasure. Dustin was our server who was friendly and informative. They have gluten-free items if you have allergies. Great portions and prices. We'll be back.

Lovely meal served by Anne. I ordered the salmon salad sandwich without the platter, my husband ordered the nip platter with gluten-free bun. Anne was very personable and warm. We will be back.

We haven’t been there for ages and it was fairly busy. Food was very good my husband had fish and chips, 2 enormous pieces of battered cod, and I had chicken fingers, also very good. Seating was done quickly and service was neither fast., nor slow, just right. Prices were reasonable too.
