The owner of the Winnipeg franchise has a heavy food allergy and he understands the needs of celiacs and all food allergies. The vibe is a typical corporate pub, but the food is from this world. The food is delivered separately and confirmed as gluten-free. Every employee knows how to keep you safe. The local burger is on any American standard. Very recommended for safety, ambience and taste! View all feedback.
What Nate M doesn't like about Local Public Eatery:
Chicken sandwich was fine, but the side caesar salad was basically a small separate container with a bit of chopped up lettuce and a couple crumbs of bacon. No dressing, and the container wasnt even full. Definitely not the way it was described. View all feedback.
Amazing experience! Staff were knowledgeable on the GF options and they have a dedicated deep fryer. Really yummy burger buns!!
The food at this restaurant is excellent and they offer a wide variety of gluten-free options. They have a dedicated deep fryer for corn tortillas and gluten-free buns.
The food was delivered cold, and the gravy was missing. However, the onion rings remained crispy, and the chicken was surprisingly tasty despite not being hot.
My husband and I both loved the salad at this restaurant. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the lettuce was crisp and fresh, and the dressing had a nice touch of spice that we enjoyed. The portion sizes were just right.
The Calabrian Caesar Salad with Blackened Chicken was delicious. However, there were two small issues I had with it - the portion size was a bit small, and I prefer my salad already chopped as the romaine lettuce hearts were left whole.
