Famous Daves - Winnipeg

First (and last) visit was very disappointing. I had the St. Louis ribs and brisket combo. The ribs were tasteless and the brisket had the appearance and taste of processed meat. I would not recommend this place especially to anyone who enjoys barbecued food.

We went there for my daughters birthday. The staff were friendly and answered all questions I had. The food came hot and juicy. Perfect and we all praised the eats. The time of day was perfect as well , not too busy or noisy. We enjoyed the time and had a great visit as well as conversation.

Although it was very busy, the service was great - very fast and friendly staff. The brisket was very, very salty and ruined it for me. Big portions!

I've gone to this location roughly 3 times now. Our servers were great 2/3 times. First 2 times we went everything was well prepared and we enjoyed our meals and drinks, our 3rd visit however was not an enjoyable one the server was rude to us, our food was cold and not too tasty. Hopefully it was a one time thing but I can honestly say we have not returned since unfortunately due to our last experience.

This is a hidden jewel. The food is so delicious, the portions are large and the service is great. Those who suffer from nut allergies should take every precaution and ask before you order your food.
