What Marina Havard (Marishinka) doesn't like about East India Company Pub & Eatery:
First time back in 3 years. Came in for a Sunday lunch. It’s $24.99 per person. We missed the food and interior. The food was basic. Use to be the best Indian restaurant and now just the average. Stand outs were salad bat and the basic mayo pasta salad. The samosa had good flavor, tandoori chicken was better than other offerings, and the eggplant dish. Things that weren’t great were butter chicken, palak paneer (no p... View all feedback. What Jan Mueller likes about East India Company Pub & Eatery:

This is the best Indian food I've had in Winnipeg. I definitely recommend it. Decor is nice as well. Parking is a pain though.

read moreThe restaurant offers a Sunday lunch buffet priced at $24.99 per person, with basic food that was once known as the best Indian restaurant in town now considered average by some regulars. The salad bar and basic mayo pasta salad stand out, along with good flavors in the samosa, tandoori chicken, and eggplant dish. However, dishes like butter chicken, palak paneer, and shrimp with creamy curry fell short for some diners. The lunch buffet had mixed reviews, with some finding the food fresh and tasty while others found it disappointing. The decor of the restaurant was praised, though one reviewer had a negative experience with the service. Overall, the buffet was well-liked, with a variety of options and attentive staff. The restaurant was recommended for those looking for a diverse selection of East Indian food, albeit at a slightly higher price point. Overall, the East India Company received mixed reviews but was generally recommended for its food variety, flavor, and decor.
