What Marina Havard (Marishinka) doesn't like about East India Company Pub & Eatery:
First time back in 3 years. Came in for a Sunday lunch. It’s $24.99 per person. We missed the food and interior. The food was basic. Use to be the best Indian restaurant and now just the average. Stand outs were salad bat and the basic mayo pasta salad. The samosa had good flavor, tandoori chicken was better than other offerings, and the eggplant dish. We visited this restaurant after being ignored at another downtown Indian restaurant. The difference was instantaneous the ambiance, the service and the personnel. Our server Katrina was exceptional courteous, diligent and amazing recall got the whole order for 4 people without writing it down! I’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in many countries including India and the quality of the food here is exceptional! Our visit was Monday night not always the best evening to eat out but the restaurant was crowded always a good sign would recommend it!
The buffet has so many options of food to choose from. Love the colorful cousine. Sauces are well balanced between sweet and salty. Drinks are also tasty and the staff is very nice to customers even in high rush hours. Especially the owner is very polite. It was a nice experience eating here
Went for their lunch buffet and I had high hopes. For the butter chicken, I was expecting a more thicker creamier texture for the sauce. Instead it was more soupy. I got there right at opening and I figured everything was going to be fresh. The chicken was on the dry side, the pakora was over cooked and the mini samosas were decent.
FANTASTIC food!!! Insanely GREAT buffet! (for dinner too!! The 65 was amazing ... to DIE for! The dessert bar was great ... 2 days ... options change often! Goat/Lamb curries were also standouts!Vegetarian options: buffet is 50% veg!
Fun, love the decor, friendly and helpful staff and their buffet is a great way to try different foods.
