A&W - Winnipeg

Finished a good late movie with my son. I called a Duffy 's taxi cab to the A&W on Portage as they are 24 hours and have drive thru only. I figured it would be inexpensive fast because I was only ordering two mozza burgers. No sooner then the cab got there we went right to the drive-thru. We sat and waited to order by the monitor. As you know cabs are pretty expensive. So nobody was taking our order so we decided to go ahead... there was three cars ahead of us. The car behind us pulled in and they started taking their order. I was livid because I had waited and I certainly didn 't want to be waiting any longer then so had to..... So I jumped out the cab and walked my but to the window and said hey you skipped us....I would like to order two Mozza burgers . The guy was flat out rude and said if I don 't like it I can leave. Only because I didn 't care to hear him say Sometimes that 's happens. Trust me I get it. The point was to take my order because I didn 't care about the monitor I only cared about how much my cabs going to be because of the service and not only my service others ahead and others behind as well. Even the skip guy was waiting... All and all it was pretty ridiculous for the amount of time that we waited at a fast food restaurant that is apparently supposed to be 24 hours and should be equipped to handle a little bit of people in a Drive-Thru. I definitely learned my lesson and I definitely will not be doing that again and I don 't recommend anybody go there if you 're taking a cab. I probably would have saved more money coming home and ordering on skip then going in a cab and waiting that long just to come home. I should have taken a $3 bus ride and ordered Skip and it still would have been cheaper...SMH... And it 's supposed to be friendly Manitoba.. they definitely were not friendly.... All in all my cab driver was awesome

Did not receive our chicken burger, called restaurant and told me they couldn't do anything as the camera showed it was packed in the order!! They said the umber eats driver may of ate it!

I'm not sure if my memory is going but it seems the burgers are getting smaller and smaller! I know I did not order off the children's menu but my goodness did it ever seem small. I had the spicy chicken habanero burger. Not what I would call spicy. the small bun was size appropriate for the small chicken patty. The fries were a miss. A bit soggy and unseasoned. The chicken fingers were okay and of course the root beer was good. I definitely would never order the habanero burger again so I'll stick to the classics of the family line. Kudos to the staff for bringing the meal out to the car once it was ready!

We were in a hurry and the staff were able to accommodate us quickly. This restaurant was also very clean.

Ordered our food for 4 of us. Only 1 order had onions, the rest did not. All came with onions. Because of that they all had onion flavor on them. So more or less not what the family would eat. Called them. Spoke to the manager, he said bring them back will redo the order. Go back there and spoke to him. He them lied, said he did not say that. Terrible person. I dont go there any more.
