Mancini's Italia Bakery - Windsor

The bread I bought today is great but the service was lousy. I had planned on buying several items but got passed from one employee to another then completely ignored. They have two meat slicers but apparently had cleaned one and didn't want to have to clean it again. The employee who I had been passed off to just kept cutting pounds of cheese for a deli tray to be made later while I stood there and waited for her to serve me. Then another employee helped a customer who had come in after me and had the one who was supposed to be serving me stop slicing cheese so she could use the slicer. Is there no common sense here?

There’s something going on at this bakery’s process, I’ve been eating this bread since I was born my grandparents lived right up the street in Windsor. They are over cooking (too brown) and they’re getting air bubbles forming on the crust which is the first place this mold is starting before the fresh date.? I hope they can correct this. I am going to call them later and find out if they are correcting this or even aware of it. ?

Great variety of baked goods, hot foods, and grocery items. We visited to get bakery treats, but when we were getting ready to leave, they brought out a tray of fresh baked pizzas. We had to try one!! We chose pepperoni, and it was delicious. The Cannolis were excellent. We are already planning what to get when we stop by on our way to the States on Thursday!!

Enjoyed an excellent dinner tonight thanks to Mancini’s Italia Bakery. Mancini’s has always been a great staple on Erie Street and now under new family ownership the Pupatello family are successfully carrying on the great tradition put forward by the Mancini family while introducing new items to the bakery deli and hot food selection. Great service selection !!

Poor customer service, unprofessional conduct and attitude from their baker (Maggie). We were pushed to order before even tasting. Frankly, and with utmost respect, the quality of their cakes that we sampled was far below the arrogance we observed.
