Sitara Authentic Indian Cuisine

I went to Sitara for lunch. We were welcomed with a warm smile. The person who served us always had a great smile. This made us want to have food from this place. I loved the hospitality. Now to the main part. We had a Masala dosa, a Chicken 65 dosa, poori, egg fried rice and tandoori chicken curry. The chef came to meet us when we ordered an item which was not ready yet and Tandoori Chicken curry was his suggestion to go with the egg fried rice. Such a nice and and above all, great suggestion. We loved to combo. To finish it up, we had Gulab Jamun for dessert. I loved the service and the food. I could only take the photo of Gulab Jamun as we finished the other dishes way too fast. I hope they can maintain the service and the food quality when the store is super busy as well.

Karampodi ghee idli.. Amazing.. Best I've had in Windsor Idli, Vada and chutney were just GREAT... Vada had pieces of coconut a whole black pepper inside which is as authentic as it gets... Delicious Sambar was OK but Better than MOST others in Windsor Dosa was a disappointment including the potato masala... My wife and my in-laws had an opportunity to check this place out recently and we weren’t disappointed. We were scoping out few Indian restaurants in the area for my fathers in-laws 80 anniversary catering. We ordered a whole bunch of dishes and I have to say they exceeded our expectations. For appetizers we ordered Pakoras, Vada, Idly, Cut Mirchi and Paneer 65. They all were delicious. Pakoras and cut mirchi were my favorite. For entrees we had few different types of dosas and Palnadu Lamb Biryani. Biryani was very authentic and loved it. We will be catering from them for sure and more visits are in order.
