This restaurant is fantastic! The vibe is friendly, the food is amazing, and the staff is top-notch. I highly recommend visiting and I will definitely be back, whether it's for a meal or just a drink at the bar. View all feedback.
If you want to eat a great food, it's the place to go. when they see it, they have an idea where the place is. So here is what I / we thought of the experience, we called and asked if they could take about 13 of us for a family dinner on a Sunday. we wanted to eat late afternoon, so they said it was not a problem. immediately from the beginning we had a good feeling about this place prompt reaction on the emails etc. we have to eat there and a friendly greeting and no pressure to make their mind what was good to see the choice of eating was a Sunday roasting was the main option, so most of us went for the bark or bubbly swarm that I had. both were served with a large selection of vegetables and yorkshire puds. the reports about the bark was perfectly cooked, all I can say about the belly pork, it was absolutely **** wonderful cracks was wonderful. one of the children had a burger he just didn't make. no room for dessert good choice of beer apple wine and wein as well as all in all went happy and full to home. we will be back and if they are still sitting on the fence after they have read this, they need a little press the olives and tinted fish are a good starter.
We have been before and tonight we were not let down. A beautiful meal at a good price. My hangar steak was out of this world, properly cooked and served. Can't recommend this place highly enough
Interesting, slightly quirky place. All three of us had fantastic food. Service was a bit wonky staff forgot a couple of times but very friendly and happy. It added to our fun evening to be honest. Parking is an issue though. It's wedged in to a residential area. It was hard to identify where we could park in the dark as all the spaces seemed to be residents only. Eventually found a street that was wide enough to park in the road but it took about 15min to get sorted and then walk there.
This is a very cosy place to meet up with friends for a drink. Nicely situated in the heart of Knowle village. There is a small selection of games and books to play/read whilst visiting here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The drinks, whilst not the cheapest, were reasonable priced and were nicely made. There was a selection of bar snacks available, along with a small selection of alcoholic beverages, along with the usual hot and cold soft drinks. The dining area looked pleasant, but can't review the food as we didn't eat here.
This is a lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. We booked on a Tuesday, which happened to be Steak night only, something we were unaware of beforehand. This limited the menu options, but there were still plenty of appetizers and entrees to choose from. The wine list was well-curated, although we wished there were more red wines available by the glass. The food was beautifully presented and full of delicious flavors. We had a very enjoyable meal and will definitely be returning to try more dishes from the menu. Thank you.
