What User doesn't like about The White Hart:
very disappointing. no table service and had to stand at the bar for 20 minutes before it was served. had to wait an hour for our meal, but there was no mention of a delay when we ordered. when the food arrived, it was nothing special. bark meat was ok, but the yorkshire pudding was undercooked and the cabbage was like raw. we found that several people complained about their meals. Roast beef was inedible due to toughness and two meals left.Waitress shirked responsibility to tell chef as requested.Over half an hour wait for the rubbish left us against the car park clock.Absolute waste of time and £30!
Nice ambience. Lovey staff. However although the food was tasty our party of four all felt thankful that we had ordered the “Sunday roast Soaker” as apposed to the “moderate”. The ‘expected’ large soaker was a much smaller portion than we expected at £15 a plate we won’t be going back. Don’t get me wrong, what was there was very tasty served hot. If the portions were bigger we would definitely return, but as it stands we’ll head back to the Rope Anchor in Poole town centre.
Staff friendly table area very clean however food choices very poor! So overall an average experience. Came across more as a local for drinking rather than a pub restaurant
The staff were nothing short of excellent, helpful, polite and the food was very nice indeed! I will definitely go there again I really enjoyed it.
Good quality eating in a culture pub right in the heart of a historic place in wimborne. friendly staff team. add a simple child menu to encourage even more customers
