What User dislikes about The Three Legged Cross:
the restaurant was warm and welcoming, but the view of the rear windows where we sit showed a broken zaun and the ventilation channels. we ordered the curry, (not available), rinderbourgignon, (not available), the drowned with the fish and the chips of my man were cold, and the fat on my pigeon was still white and had not boiled slowly. the waitress tried to be helpful, but her i pad did not seem to work very efficie... Eating came very fast, but was not hot enough. carrots were boiled and almost inedible, other veg was simply not hot.

Three legged cross is our restaurant of choice that we always have good service good eating and is both warm and comfortable. we would recommend
At The Three Legged, guests often find a warm and welcoming atmosphere complemented by friendly staff, though experiences can vary widely. While some diners rave about the delicious food and quick service, particularly enjoying dishes like beef bourguignon and indulgent Sunday roasts, others have encountered significant menu shortages and quality issues. Reports of broken equipment and disappointing new menu items like prawn linguine have led to mixed reviews. However, many patrons are willing to overlook these hiccups, recalling previous delightful meals and expressing a desire to return, hoping for a more consistent dining experience in the future.

Made a lunch time booking with friends. We ended up all having different dishes and they were all amazing! The staff were so friendly polite.
We had an amazing meal for my daughter's hen do meal. The hosts were amazing! We had the whole room to ourselves and it was excellent thank you!
Have been semi-regular here since it was the run by friends back when it was called the old barn farm. The food has always been great but we decided to try our first Christmas dinner out as a family. They accommodated 11 of us and all the food was better than expected with nice portions, bigger than they look, were made to feel very welcome by happy, helpful staff and not a miserable face in sight. Thanks so much to everyone at TTLC for making it such a great day. Maybe see you next Christmas!!
We stopped on the off chance that this pub was dog friendly, it was not only dog friendly but very very people friendly as well.!! What a find!! We had a meal in a lovely part of the pub, a drink followed by a dessert. The staff were very welcoming helpful, we will definitely be back soon. I am always very fussy where I eat but this pub ticked all the box’s.
Lovely staff and great food. You need to be able to dislocate your jaw to get it around the burger, but, it’s very tasty. The beef bourguignon was amazing. King prawn scallop and Camembert starters were superb. Well worth a visit!

The food was excellent and plentiful at this restaurant. Our server Em was very polite and pleasant. We had a very enjoyable evening at one of our favorite local pubs.
The restaurant had a very welcoming and accommodating staff. The food was both flavorful and nicely presented. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, we were still able to enjoy a conversation and catch up with each other. The overall ambiance of the pub felt cheerful and inviting.
Today, I took my Dad to his favorite local restaurant for his birthday. He enjoyed the fish and chips, but unfortunately, my son and I opted for the new dish on the menu, Prawn Linguine. I must say, it was the worst meal I have ever had at the Three Legged. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she informed me that they have received other complaints, but the menu is controlled by headquarters. I found this confusing, as I believe any chef should taste the food before it leaves the kitchen. The waitress mentioned they are trying to remove the dish from the menu, but that didn't help us on this particular visit, which was disappointing. As a gesture of goodwill, the waitress took our coffees and dessert off the bill. Personally, I believe our main courses should have also been comped, but I didn't want to cause a scene and upset my Dad. Despite this disappointing experience, I will give the Three Legged another chance, as I know this is not their usual standard. I felt it was important to share my feedback in this review.
Choosing Sunday Roast for a 2.45 lunch was a mistake, as it was obviously prepared for mid day presentation and had become a little tired by 3.pm. The quality of the food was fine, but when served the broccoli was cold and the meat was beginning to become over cooked. We specifically asked for a window table, but were taken to a centre room table, which we declined and were then offered a suitable window table. Having chosen a local restaurant, I was annoyed to find that the booking system was run by an outside organisation, and have been constantly pestered with annoying emails from the Fork organisation. I now wish to cease any contact with the fork organisation Please unsubscribe me from your mailing list.
A great place to meet up with friends family. The staff are very helpful efficient. We all enjoyed our food. It’s obviously very popular which is a good sign.

Can't fault this place! Very pretty from the outside and quaint, on the inside. It's been nicely done up. Cosy and homey, there's plenty of seating to choose from. Lovely nooks and crannies with couches and more, and a nice patio for warmer weather. If you're looking for a traditional British pub, you've come to the right place. Reasonable prices too. There's a lovely bar with enough beers on tap to suit all palates and more in the fridge. As for the food, they have most of the pub favourites along with steaks and salads as well as some vegetarian options. The set menu is on from Mon-Thurs and is great value at £11.99 for two courses £2 for three or for a steak meal. I couldn't fit it in, but dessert was full sized and delicious too. Some had a berry crumble or a melba panacotta. If you're in the area, this place is well worth a visit, it won't disappoint!
