What Jennifer Sawyer doesn't like about Creekhouse Kitchen:
The atmosphere is really what you are paying for here. If you want good food or to not have to wait 10 minutes for the bathroom look elsewhere. Chicken tenders were so greasy and flavorless. The fish sandwich for almost 20 bucks was a joke. View all feedback.
Great Food....friendly folks and a wonderful view. Nice Bar and cold beer too! I will definitely be coming back here!!!
Started off great with a Sparkling Rose, the atmosphere was beautiful and the decor was very pretty. We waited about 40 minutes for an outdoor spot, which was understandable being it was a Friday afternoon post thanksgiving. We sat down and waited...still waited, about 25 minutes passed and no one came to even serve any water. I had to flag down the hostess and let her know we hadn 't been helped yet. Someone finally appears (without apologies for the wait pours us some water and leaves. First of all, my water did not look clean not sure if it was the cup or water, but I was not about to drink it. Second: my 11 year old found a HAIR floating in his water come on...really? When I told the waitress she barely even knew what to do and hardly acknowledged it or even apologized for the unacceptable water. Isn 't this an issue THEY are supposed to know how to deal with?? We also asked them twice to turn on the space heater for us (it was getting cold out , both excuses were that the manager was the only one who knew how to do it. It was never turned on, we never saw the manager once. We also only saw our waitress maybe about 2 3 times. Never asked how our food was, didn 't check on us, she just came to drop the check... Food was OK. Hummus was tasty, veggies and pitas were nothing special. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich with cucumber side salad, which were also OK. Chicken was a bit dry, bun wasn 't that great wish the bun tasted fresher (it 's all about the bun! . All in all, I wish the service and food were as good as the ambiance and drinks were (music was great too . Whether they were Short staffed or not, there 's no excuse for poorly trained staff. We 've gone to places that were much busier than this with excellent customer service. isn 't that why restaurants are considered to be in the HOSPITALITY category!?
The facility is wonderful. The staff friendly and the setting over the creek is excellent. Parking can be a problem as the parking lot is small for the number of tables. There were several in our party and no one thought the food they ordered was all that great. I had the too tough pork chop. The greens were excellent and the fries were good. The chips and cheese sauce were good. Three of us tried the chicken sandwich and two were sent back as being too tough and overcooked. My wife is a returning guest and ordered the tacos she had before and was disappointed in them as well. The well drinks were good. Maybe it was just an off night in the kitchen but at this price point the value was greatly lacking. There was nothing offensive but there is no compelling reason to return. I give it a 3 overall but if only rating the physical plant and service it would warrant a 5. Food gets at best a 2.
First time guest. Quick summary. Food was ok. Value was good considering the location. Had one of their salads. Drink from the bar was not good. Very watered down. Service was poor. Server was more interested in hanging out at the computer with the other servers. Suggestion to the restaurant Do not have your servers show up to the table and just say, Your meal was $xxx. Customers should be able to review the bill without awkwardly asking the server for a breakdown.
We sat at the bar and had great service! Truffle fries are a must get!!! Pastor Street Tacos were also superb. Highly recommend coming here. We hope to be back to sit on the patio during nicer weather.
