Someone recommended this place for lunch, and we were not disappointed! They have an amazing set menu, but we opted to order a la carte since we we're too hungry. Definitely worth the money, and the property is so lovely. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Rustico at Hay Shed Hill:
Went today for lunch after hearing rave reviews. We had the 6 course tapas. SFirst course of scallops were served cold. Some staff were quite unfriendly (Sophie). Food was not exceptional but very pedestrian. Not worth the money in my opinion. View all feedback.

Had the 5 course degustation with standard wine pairing. Food was amazing and portions were unexpectedly generous. Didn't need dinner after this lunch! Lovely wines. Chris the sommelier was brilliant, he gave the best explanations and tasting advice we've ever had when doing a wine flight, hands down. Will definitely be coming back.
A shout out to Sophie, she was amazing, great service, beautiful smile and entertaining and to top it off, the best cocktails and fabulous degustation lunch, thanks we will be back
Try the degustation menu, you won't regret it. Great food and great wine!!
Staff were good, venue and surrounds are pretty, however the food was disappointing. I had the vegan menu and whilst fine, the food was not worth the $75, was generally little plain (for example the main pumpkin dish) and didn't really translate well from standard menu to Vegan menu (example is the dessert where cheese on a platter substituted for hommas).The main menu (non vegan) seemed fine.
