The café is located within the abbey and offers the option to sit on sofas inside or chairs in the abbey garden. The service was friendly and they had a nice variety of cakes and pastries. The cheese scone I had was excellent - delicious and nicely presented. It was also good value for the quality. View all feedback.
What jocelynhooton doesn't like about Malmesbury Abbey Cafe:
A sign saying free parking along side parked cars and assumed that's where you parked.Wrong ,got a fine and appealed but rejected. An expensive coffee at the Abbey Cafe.Good friendly service in delightful surrounds .Just watch out for the parking signs View all feedback.
A hot summer’s day, we needed a light lunch, we knew the Abbey Cafe from the past, in we went, ploughman’s lunch for me , my partner had a BLT toasted, both very satisfying. A good place to know
Had a sandwich of bacon, asked for it toasted but it didn’t come that way but it didn’t matter as the bacon was lovely. Recycling containers used, way to go
Lovely homemade cakes, welcoming staff and good coffee. A 'must do ' whilst visiting the Abbey. Can recommend theGinger sponge!
What a gem! Arrived late lunchtime. Freshly prepared sandwiches at sensible prices served by a very pleasant helpful lady. Will visit again when we're in the area.
Well worth a visit. Beautiful. Very interesting, full of interesting historical info. Great atmosphere, very peaceful setting.
