Ugh so good. You even have the option to upgrade your dish with freshly handmade pasta. However since I got the lasagna, I was not able to do so, but I'm okay with this since it was still so good. I also got the Hummingbird dessert and it was well done, so tasty. A beautiful setting, and a large outdoor space for kids to play felt like it was going to be a dream to sit at and watch the night go by……it was not. Service was disjointed, continually forgetting our orders, and drinks. The food was hit or miss the eggplant looked pretty, but lacked flavor. What an amazing place to have a sample meal! We sat on the covered veranda which had beautiful lighting and hanging flowers. We have as many beautiful pictures of our wedding party together as the veranda was so beautiful. The food was as amazing as the porch. They had so many great drinks and dishes and was affordable for the area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our only note is that although we have a reservation for 12 about a month before the time, they tried to us at two separate tables. At the end we could sit together, but it took a while to sort. We had an incredible tasting dinner with excellent food on a beautiful veranda and would definitely return to Calico in the future!
This is probably our favorite place when you visit Jackson. Always as we expect. Ordered lasagna, fillet, chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs and pizza. Nothing remains on our plates! A certain must go space if you like Italian!
Food was great. The service lacked, due to being understaffed, tremendously. Almost to the point of getting up n walking out. One waitress for the whole bar area tables. She was very nice when she could get there.
Great food and service. Took the family and we all gobbled it up. Kids were able to run outside in the yard connected and had a great time. I highly recommend the chicken.
We celebrated my engaged birthday in calico and had a great time! the staff was friendly and the food was great. make sure that the handmade pasta and the bruschetta!
