What User doesn't like about St Jacobs Farmers' Market Grill:
A great disappointment, after years of getting a great breakfast at the Market Grill, this breakfast was a major letdown! I ordered two eggs over easy, with bacon. I asked for extra bacon as well. What I received was over hard eggs, no yolk to dip my toast in. The bacon was cooked crisp to the point of being burnt! The staff was busy and disorganized, I waited at the till at least five minutes to pay while my food go... View all feedback.
Beefy, homemade, scrumptious burger, we will be back for more on our next visit to Waterloo at the St. Jacob's Market.
Farmer countryside atmosphere, I loved the schnitzel plate. The french fries are hand-cut on site. Local Amish workers too.

This market is no fly by night operation. Having been to St. Lawrence Market in Toronto, I anticipated the same experience. I was mistaken. The quaintness of St. Jacobs market is found in its vendors. They come out before the sun comes up me stay at the heat builds throughout the day. They're eager not only to sell you their produce but to greet you and make small talk. If you need to stock up on tomatoes, onions, beets, carrots etc. this is the spot to be. There's also food if you're hungry. There's not one but two food buildings offering up delicacies. I had a back bacon cheese and egg sandwich to start and then a Caribbean crepes afterwards and was impressed with both meals. There's freshly squeezed orange juice and home made lemonade and let's not forget the apple fritters! It's a great place to take the kids on a Saturday afternoon and a fun place to have some good food with family and friends.

Gooey in the middle, and her bacon was done the same as mine! Poorly! She also ordered a apple cider, and what she got was a apple cider powdered mix, not what you would expect at a Farmer's Market.
