I'd definitely give this location a five star rating. The service is excellent, with tactful and efficient workers. I've been to this store several times, and the food was nothing short of perfection. The dining area is clean and nicely decorated, a relaxing place to eat with others. If you're looking for the best Halal food in the Willow Grove area, I'd definitely recommend Al-Sham 6. View all feedback.
What Sebastian Runte doesn't like about Al Sham:
Paid for extra red and white sauce, drove all the way home to find that not only did they not give me the extra cups I paid for, they didn’t even put an ounce of sauce on the actual food. Like come on... way to absolutely disappoint your customers. Ended up going to a regular halal cart and trashing this. View all feedback.
The restaurant space is nice and clean, ordering over the phone is very convenient. The music is a little loud but not a big issue. I ordered the NY combo, which is chicken and lamb over rice. It was very good, one of the best platters I have had. The chicken was well-seasoned and the lamb was tender. The white sauce and hot sauce were also delicious. I also tried the chicken maroosh, but I personally felt it lacked flavor compared to other places I have tried it. Overall, I highly recommend this place for the NY combo, as it was very good and the portion size was satisfying. I will definitely be back for this dish.
The service at this restaurant is extremely friendly! The food is also delicious. While it may be a bit more expensive compared to other halal options, the generous portions make it worth the price.
I have no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed their chicken shawarma and lamb shawarma with fries. The meat was delicious, juicy, and well-seasoned, served with a delectable garlic yogurt sauce. The pack also included a tasty side of hummus, fresh salad, and tomatoes. It is difficult to find good Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisine in the area, so I am thankful to have found this gem.
Very interesting near east eating. there are other restaurants that I like better, but it is nice to have options for this type of eating.
I tried their Philadelphia location before and thought this location will be good as Philly but I was wrong. Chicken was so dry and Hummus was almost watery. I would not recommend my friend to visit them again.
