Overall great experience. Maitre d’ was welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable with menu choices. Also catered towards allergies which was great. Able to choose between 4-7 courses from the tasting menu. Each course was different in style and flavour but complimented each other fairly well. The pumpkin cake desert was my favourite. Sommelier was very friendly and made it easy to pick a nice wine for each course.... View all feedback.
What A doesn't like about Restaurant Ente:
Been there for my girlfriends birthday. We had the 4 courses menu (95 € We choose to have the menu served with corresponding wines, selected from the local sommelier. This was a big mistake. For three glasses of wine we were charged 65 € each, the price was not mentioned on the menu, we didn't expected so much (our bad, we didn't asked before.. , besides, one of the wine didn't really match the food. Other than that,... View all feedback.
I had a wonderful evening – once I was shown to my table (see below). even if the right Michelin star “Ente” is to be closed and “the duck bistro” has taken over its spatialities, it was usually starworthy. I have not felt much of a difference between the menus of the entrance and the bistro. pasta with summer truffles could have been more impressive, as the truffle fragrance was quite light and the pasta could have done with a little more salt. in contrast, the main (veal) and the desert were fantastic, as the service was: not to blame at all! a question that I never met so clearly: I called around the day of my planned visit and was pointed out that a table is not available for one in this night. I rejected the offer to be placed on a waiting list. looking for another restaurant I passed the entrance and saw that not all the tables were taken. I tried my luck before location and – surprise – was shown a table. Moreover, I could observe that in this night definitiw not all the smaller tables were taken. I can understand that a restaurant prefers to take a table of two instead of just one guest. but to reject the reservation of a single guest for the same night when the booking numbers are obviously not so strong that I do not understand.
What a service! amazing personal. fantastic eating, great taste. the only minus was that the portions at the end of the meal became larger. we could not eat all foods and were forced to go. better serve smaller portions and instead supply more taste....We choose the goose menu. our sommelier was great.
I was invited by a business partner to eat at the duck (duck). we took the courses with the wine experience. each cure was a balanced creation of taste and the wine selection was a perfect fit. the personal was correct and friendly and made the experience complete. for restaurants in this price class, the ente definitiw is one of the best places to go.
That is a great restaurant. we had the duck menu for it was excellent. the wine list has excellent German weine at a very reasonable price. the service was really wonderful. I would appreciate the eating excellent and the service excellent (also better than the excellent food). well made and reasonable price!
Went for my wedding anniversary and was as good as I expected it. Top quality service to accompany a top quality meal. I cannot wait for the next opportunity to try some other dishes. Only recommendation I would dare give is the possibility of...having selected wines (a glass) with each dish as part of a menu. Thank you for the great evening. Highly recommended.
