Our son was 16 whilst on holiday and we really wanted to go somewhere that would please him, our other 3 children (aged 11 to 19) and us. Hannes (not Franz, recently renamed) did just that. Nice authentic place for a late dinner after a concert in the conservatory nearby where you can spend some time drinking a nice wine and having a conversation. The goulash was really yummy and soft but had too much glutamate (headache the next day.) A...real Viennese experience. View all feedback.
We really enjoyed the carving here. this place is so much cheaper than a few roads away. the portions are generous, atmosphere is cozy, and the staff prompt and friendly. we recommend:
This place looked like a dive bar when we entered, and I initially thought that we had made a mistake in coming here. However, the server and bar man were very friendly, the beer was cold, and the food was cooked with care. They don't...do anything creative, just the Austrian standards such as schnitzel and goulasch, but they do them well. Relatively inexpensive.
Using TripAdvisor we came across this place and we were not disappointed. Lovely friendly service and the food was excellent. Out of the busy tourist area so not much ambience but the food and service more than made up for this.
Very friendly waiters and great service! I ordered Goulash and it was really really good. I would definitely visit again.
Nice restaurant, looks good inside and has also small garden outside, food was great, beer very good and the service was nice. Can recommend overall
