Lydia's La Canasta Mexican Food

The waitress was new to the job, but did an excellent job. We were on the terrace there was a large order for 3 tables, with only 1 kitchen EVERYONE was GREAT! Your food then ours were all served together Noone had to wait to serve the others. And our meals were fantastic. Very recommended!

I had a wonderful lunch with a friend of mine and one of the nicest marines I've ever met named Felix, he saved us today when our tire blew . I love your hot salsas and tacos. They r the best.....

Walked in was greeted and sat right away. Server got our drinks and put chips and salsa on the table very quickly. Food came out very hot and was delicious. The offer various discounts to include Veterans. Definitely recommend this place.

Really good hot sauce, good salsa and chips. Husband really liked the bean chimichanga. Daughter said her enchilada was just OK and rice was bland. I thought the cheese enchilada was pretty good, ground beef taco was alright and bean tostada was good. Nice staff and food was ready quickly. Hot sauce was my favorite part. Hot sauce was amazing.

Don't let the low 4.3 rating fool you—Lydia's food is a must-try! We initially went to Anita's but ended up leaving. The woman at The Peaceful Pony highly recommended Lydia's, and I'm so glad we listened. The staff was friendly, and the salsa and chips were fantastic. The hot food, beans, and rice were all delicious. I had the Chile Relleno Combo, and it was amazing! I'll definitely be coming back from Phoenix for more.
