This place never disappoints. I've eaten several times here, it's always the best chicken in town. I love the fact that they don't let the chicken scare it under a lamp like any other chicken restaurant. I don't care about waiting for fresh food. The chicken has a good ****, it's juicy hot. I'm trying not to be critical. It was at the end of the day when I ordered. I think that had a lot to do with it. Chicken was dry. I don't know why, maybe overcooked or because it was the last batch that was sitting too long under the warmer. If you're in business, you need to plan ahead so the quality doesn't suffer. These birds aren't scrawny! These birds aren't dry! These birds are fried to juicy perfection! It was great to hear about and try something that is not only the best fried chicken in town, but is local. Keep up the great work!
Family ate there Thursday, we had a hard time deciding what we liked the best. The gizzards are always a hit, fried Mac n cheese was fabulous chicken tenders were best in town, fried shrimp n poppers great also and all very reasonably priced!
