Homegrown Kitchen - Wichita

I absolutely love this place and it will definitely be a regular stop for me. The service here is amazing, with the hostess being warm and welcoming and very helpful with getting us checked in. We ended up sitting at the bar due to a long wait, but it turned out to be a great experience. The brightly lit atmosphere is comfortable and lively, with patio seating and a bar available for those who haven't checked in ahead of time. The food was incredibly delicious and I cannot recommend this place enough. Having recently moved from Oklahoma City, HomeGrown reminds me of my favorite breakfast spot there called Hatch Early Morning Food. I'm thrilled to have found a similar spot in this area.

Avocado toast was excellent with great flavor. The fruit that comes with the dish has a zesty lemon sauce on it that is amazing. The coffee cake was awesome and worth ordering and taking with you if you can't eat one while there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Eric, my waiter, was exceptional and very helpful with recommendations. Will come back.

My wife and I got hungry while out shopping so we stopped by HomeGrown. My first time her third. When we arrived we were told 1 to 1.5 hour wait. We went ahead and got in queue. The bar seating is first come first serve so we watched for a spot to open. 30mins and 2 bar spots opened and as we headed to get seats at bar just as we started to get seated we were pageg for a table so we opted for the table instead of the bar. 36 mins we waited instead of the hour they estimated. She had the lemon ricotta pancakes and I went for the biscuits and gravy. Food was good and came out fast. Service was good. While it's not my favorite breakfast spot it was overall a good experience. I will be back.

I believe I have never had a more beautiful breakfast than the one served at this charming restaurant. I love the use of homegrown ingredients and will always remember the delicious meal I had. The picture shows LoLos Granola and Yogurt paired with a homemade lemon pop tart.

HomeGrown is a fantastic place for Breakfast Brunch and Lunch.. their **** Mary’s are a favorite for me, and the food was very delicious. The staff was very friendly and they created a very clean environment and a peaceful atmosphere. Christina our waitress was particularly attentive and made sure we were taken care of, she was fluent in both English and Spanish and made for a fun conversation. I highly recommend a visit here, and will definitely be back again.
