My regular bakery was closed today so i wanted to try something new and was HANGRY got a sandwich and the male worker asked if i wanted it traditional american style (i’m very white) and i said i was open minded. he brought me one of the best breakfast sandwiches i’ve ever had. with carrots, cucumbers, and cilantro on it i was a little excited. i live about 25 minutes away from Mi No’s but gas is relevant to this san... What Alisa N doesn't like about Banh Mi Mi No Bakery:
Staff were nice. The sizzling steak and egg dish left much to be desired. The sweet sauce on the steak was not what I expected and the meat was very chewy. Not a lot of gluten free options. Hard to substitute anything (they didn’t have rice) for the bread with this dish. Macaroon shell tasted a little old and wasn’t my favorite. The cream inside had good flavor and wasn’t too sweet. Mino Barkery is absolutely a hidden gem in Wichita. Besides Banh Mi, their bakery menu is delicious and tasty! Definitely recommend!
I first discovered Mi No through my friends but ever since I just keep coming back for more! Everything they make is so fresh and delicious that I only wish they'd make more each day. My favorite things to get are their pork floss buns which are heavenly and light, as well as a fish pie sandwich (cha ca). Either always makes my day a bit brighter. Visiting Wichita in business, we stopped by Mi No for a quick lunch. The chicken banh Mi was awesome, so fresh and flavorful, on spectacularly crusty bread. We also got a flan, a coffee and two macarons, all of which were delightful! I will definitely be coming here again next time I’m in Wichita!
I’ve tried more than 10 Vietnamese restaurants in town, usually to order pho, but I also like to try the banh mi. This is without a doubt the best place in town for banh mi. I’ve tried the roasted pork, char siu pork, and the steak banh mi and they were all amazing. The bread is really what sets this place above the rest as it has a nice crust while being nice and soft on the inside. I would give this more stars if I could.
Absolute cornerstone of the are. My favorite place to sit in and share a lunch with someone, or to purchase a few bakery items that you won’t find anywhere else. A must-go!
