What Ann doesn't like about Sambong Naengmyun:
Authentic Korean cold noodles!!! You can tell it?s authentic cause 90% of the customers are Korean. You can waive the tips since you will have to go pick up the food in the front when it is your turn. Cheap and tasty. View all feedback.
This is the best Korean cold noodles I 've had. I was apprehensive after looking at the limited menu but am so glad that we came here with the family. People usually think of warm, soothing soondubu when thinking of Korean soups, but the cold noodle soupis nothing like that. Yet, it 's delicious in its own way. Even though it 's great any time of the year, I especially lookforward to coming here more during the summer. For those who have not visited before: you order and pay up front, take a tablenumber, find a seat, and pick up your food at the counter when they call your number. I recommend ordering a noodle combo (coldnoodle soup side of meat . I think only the guy up front spoke fluent English. You can grab your own hot or cold water ANDsome delicious, hot beef broth to sip on. Before we got our food, I knew it was going to be great because of the beef broth. It 's very flavorful and light I usually don 't drink plain broth but made an exception for this. The broth in the cold noodlesoup was different but just as tasty. Very rarely would I describe a noodle dish as refreshing but that 's exactly what thiswas. The hot noodle soup was good too, but I 'm sticking to the cold noodle specialty with BBQ pork. The cucumber/radishslivers in the cold soup were especially wonderful I wish I could order extra cucumber as an add on. Shout out to thegentleman up front who was very patient with my indecisive family taking 10 minutes to order. He understood that it was ourfirst time and we didn 't really understand what we were ordering. He even checked with us in the middle of our meal to makesure we were enjoying ourselves. (Our 6 person group ordered 5 entrees and 1 mung bean pancake this was more than enough foodfor us. Pros: refreshing Korean cold noodle; delicious broth Cons: not vegetarian friendly

This place used to be outstanding compared to other cold noodle places but after 1 year or two past, the taste becomes same as other places. Meat taste still awesome but the cold noodle is not anything special anymore.
Great place for Korean nengmyun (cold or spicy noodles), mandoo, and seolrungtang and do-ganitang. Clean and prefer self-service on everything except ordering. No alcohol served and great for family dining.
