What Pete Ann-Kathrin doesn't like about Bennu Cafe:
Kitchen staff doesn't practice safe handling of food. Got gluten free wrap and had a a reaction that wasn't pleasant. Previous time eating there a toothpick was covered in cheese in my nachos, almost causing me to choke and no I'm not making this up as I have my own reputation with food to uphold View all feedback.
We nice cafe! We enjoyed our panini here. Will go back! There soup was super delicious.
I always love the food here but my god are all the employees the most miserable people. The girl at the counter taking my order didn't say a hello or what can I get you. She just blankly looked at me until I started my order, then expects me to tip? Probably some of the worst customer service in the area.
Ordered a sirloin salad this is the container the salad came in. It was small the lettuce was a bunch of hard pieces. My meat was cooked well done should of been medium well. They definitely can do better with the salad the size of container.
The best house dressing around. Cobb salad and Filet salad amazing.
Went here for lunch with my sister today. The chicken pastina soup was great and so was my sandwich (the jimmi with a side of sweet potato fries). I can basically drink the honey garlic sauce at this point. Staff at the bar was hustling! She ran table to table and manned the bar by herself. Worked hard and was very very friendly. Girl deserves a raise! Couldn’t pass up on the macarons before we left. Pistachio ones were delicious. Great place for a quick lunch!
