This is a family owed restaurant, wine and beer bar and music venue. Beautiful outdoor area. Situated in the quaint small town of Wheatland . Sorry. The business and/or building is for sale. Truly hope the business can be bought and remain. It has been a real pleasure dining, drinks and listening to music here ! View all feedback.

Well, I have been there the last two Fridays to get dinner to go. I love prime rib and I heard they have a special on Fridays. Last Friday they did not have it but when I was waiting for my food a woman sitting next to me gets her order and I can hear them talking about how good the prime rib is..... this evening when I arrived I asked for the Prime Rib again and the owner (bartender) starts going on about how they have not butchered any cows and was saying some pretty insulting excuses of why they don't have it. Than while I am there a man gets his order and it looks like Prime Rib, it had a saucer with horseradish on the plate. Is the prime rib only for special people? That's pretty rude if you ask me.. Should I go in there again next Friday?
We tried Friday night prime rib to go and for how much it costs and not much food it was pretty pricey! That was a bummer! Flavor of the meat was ok... I will try them again.?
The wine and beer selection is great. It is such a cute place. They have indoor and outdoor seating. On certain days they have specific food items. Great environment and they also have trivia night. It's a must visit
I planned an evening here last night. A Saturday! I invited a friend all the way from East Sac. I then called to see if there was any live music and what time they closed. The young lady who answered said I am sorry we are going to close because it's too dead. It was so early,I couldn't believe it. It was only about 8 pm. If even that. Not sure but I know it wasn't dark yet. It was too late to tell my friend not to come. I was so embarrassed. She was all dressed and ready to have an evening there. How do you expect it to be busy if you are closing early and are not dependable regarding your hours? It would also help if you created some excitement and planned some live music and advertised it. Poor business practices on your part.
This please is another of my favorite hidden gems. Had the bleu cheese bacon burger today for the first time. PERFECTLY seasoned and portioned beef patty, crispy bacon and an abundance of bleu cheese on a warm toasty bun, this was one of the best burgers I've had in the north state. Their rotating tap and wine list always has great options as well. This is a place folks should go out of their way to find.
