The food is good and a fair value given the prices and portions. The shrimp and grits have been my favorite so far. The service is good most times, but can get backed up on a busy night. The ambiance if the upstairs bar area is much better than the downstairs. Upstairs feels like like a restaurant while downstairs feels like quick serve. View all feedback.
What tutufun doesn't like about Coosa Cleaver:
While the food was ok, and it was very busy. We had a very inexperienced and rude server. She kept rushing us and offered us to go boxes halfway thru our meal. She annoyed us constantly to rush us and leave. She really ruined the evening. Not sure if I’d ever go back. View all feedback.
A great experience in this picturesque city. The atmosphere is rustic and fun with a attentive and friendly staff. The menu offer is a step above the usual bar or burger building. We stopped for lunch and had a nice meal and spent a pleasant hour inside. We started with the regular Old Bay Fries, who were well seasoned with a kick. The lobster Mac and the cheese were loaded with lobster and crabs, but my daughter would like more cheese. My Big Fish Sandwich was a light and fluffy catfish fillet that overwhelmed the Brioche chicken. The Creole tartaric acid sauce was good with heat. The Flatbread was the most disappointing product, as the floor was a bit over. The staff is short to move, but we never had to look for them. Guests are welcome to try out their food offers.

Love Coosa Cleaver, What a beautiful hidden gem. We were technically up on the 1909 bar with Jamie as our fabulous server. We had drinks, appetizers and a view for days. Your tater dead afteros we so good there are no pictures to share. Also with the flatbread. Improving the city is currently making access difficult, and I really hope that you will survive the pandemic and improvements. You all deserve that. Your kitchen works hard and your cocktails are fantastic. Your bathroom signature is the most accurate I've ever seen. We wish you all the best! Thanks for a nice afternoon!
I only gave it four because we had to wait an hour for our food. Our server informed us that it would be a little longer because they had a few big parties, but it was still an excessive wait. But once we got our food, it was very good. Shrimps and geese were very delicious!
HIGHLY recommend..... all around it was an Awesome restaurant!!! If you haven 't been, or are visiting the area, it 's a MUST stop kinda place... Food drinks were so good, and truly authentic! The 'bar area ' aka Upstairs, is very interactive low-key, and downstairs is more casual! The staff were all friendly sweet. The bartenders were extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to conform to the customers tastes/likes!
