My friend Dutch and I visited Tante on Friday morning, and the place was quite busy, which is always a good sign. It's a relatively small restaurant, but the portions were generous and definitely not small at all. Tante ordered her favorite: fresh banana French toast, while Dutch had the Dutch hatch and egg. I opted for a hash omelet, and it was delicious! I can't speak for the others, but judging by their empty plat... View all feedback.
What Liz Gray doesn't like about The Toast Office:
I went in a few weeks ago with my mom for lunch. We both had sandwiches and they were delicious. We cleaned our plates. The reason for the low score was the wait staff. One waiter in particular rolled her eyes as us and shook her head. It made us feel very uncomfortable. The few interactions we had with her, she never cracked a smile. It was an awful experience. For that reason, I won’t be going back. Service: Dine i... View all feedback.
Fast seat for one on the switch. fast to order my order and otherwise fast and friendly service. eat good quality. hearty wine toast, perfectly made kartoffels, fluffy eggs, really good sausage (as at home on the farm). for my taste it needed to eat a bit of salt and the brioche French toast was a bit ironier than I like, but overall I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Came in just before 11 and were promptly seated. Our waitress was friendly, patient and helped us go over the different brunch options before we could decide on our order. She let us know they take pride in the food they serve and if we didn't like what we ordered we can request something else. I ordered the South beach omelet with yogurt and granola. It was a generously large omelet that was light yet filling. The yogurt and granola was a nice way to end the meal. Lots of coffee refills, I'm a satisfied customer and will be back again.
I was so excited to try this place. I love little breakfast places and after reading the menu with a whole section dedicated to avocado options, I was sold. It didn't disappoint! We went on a Saturday at 4pm. We had just missed the lunch crowd and beat the dinner crowd. We walked right in and sat down with no wait. The servers were very nice, friendly, and helpful. My husband had an American cheese omelet with extra cheese and a side of bacon, he loved it! I had avocado toast and a special omelet from the menu with avocado, tomato, garlic, and smoked gouda cheese. I was blown away! Everything was delicious, the restaurant was open and clean, and the staff was great. They have bathrooms, a small bar, tables, and booths. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast! I enjoyed a beautifully prepared custom omelette along with a green chaos, and both dishes were excellent. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. They also have a promising lunch menu, and they're open on weekdays and Saturdays now. We will definitely be returning!
