The Everest restaurant in Westport offers a mixed dining experience. While some customers rave about the delicious and authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine, others lament the poor service and long wait times. The food, particularly the lamb biriyani and lamb bhuna, receives high praise for its quality and generous portions. Despite the cold atmosphere and sometimes slow service, many diners find the flavorful dishes to be worth the wait. With mouthwatering dishes like chicken tikka masala and freshly baked garlic naan, The Everest offers a unique culinary journey that leaves a lasting impression on its patrons.

A beautiful meal. But the restaurant was very quiet due to inclement weather.

Food was really good; portions were great. Service wasn’t great and the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. Might I suggest dimming the lights and turning up the music slightly. Overall it was a good experience.

Beautiful food. 5stars The girl on the phone when i went in seemed lovely and had a nice smile to greet me. I think her name was Michelle. But the girl who took my order was extremely rude!!! She was chewing gum and not once looked at me very poor customer service and off-putting. When I asked for her name, she ignored my question. I didn't get her name but had long black hair working this evening 28/10. I hope her customer service skills improve as she was extremely rude.. It's such a shame because it's a fabulous restaurant.

My review here deals with my experience of an online pre-order for food-to-go. What you might call, click and collect. The Everest restaurant is a member of a portal host website for various restaurants and it 's called 'Mayo Eats '. One quirk of this site is that in the case of Everest restaurant, the online process doesn 't function until the restaurant actually opens for walk-in business at 17:00hrs. That kind of grinds my gears . . . The second quirk on this site is the inflexibility surrounding food pickup time. In my experience, having placed the order, a pickup time was auto selected which didn 't suit at all. I wanted pickup to one hour later than the default time set by the site. And I couldn 't change it. I then phoned the restaurant to confirm my preferred pickup time. That was all fine and dandy, up to a point. And the point was: the restaurant couldn 't 'see ' my online order for some time, which, only added to an incrementally confusing conversation
