What User likes about Uncle Dave's Bbq:
Not sure how well Uncle Dave's is known outside of local circles but, IMHO, it beats anything for miles around! Happy, smiling people, fast service, very ample portions, and GOOD food...my favorite BBQ place, bar none!.... update 8/16...got 2 pounds pulled pork to go. Every tiny bite was good edible meat..none of the fat or gristle so common from most places. Uncle Dave's is tops!!! View all feedback.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell short. Many items on the menu were unavailable and when we asked, we were informed they might have more later. The pulled pork was overly fatty and lacked any flavor. It seemed as though it had been reheated in the oven or microwave. I couldn't detect any sort of smoky taste or sauce. Love Uncle Daves! The rib eye sandwich is delicious!!

The service was ok, my ribs were cold the food came out in waves, my wife's burger was really pink I know better than sending it back. Place has a lot of potential just not achieved. More product knowledge by staff would be good. Got to meet the owner Mike he was very nice. We will give them another chance in the future, I will let you know how it goes...

Lafayette, Tn location: It's ok as long as you like beef jerky. Slices are paper thin and chewy. Sides are good but I'd pay extra to have normal slices of shoulder instead of paper slices. It's like sliced roast beef at a fast food chain

We used to love this place, but after today we will never come back again. The food was terrible and the service was lacking. We had to get up and ask for refills. Uncle Dave, you lost five customers today.
