Golden Harvest Cafe - West Wendover

Don't understand the bad reviews? My burger and salad were excellent. Service was a little slow but it was worth it. Must be the new management

Had to ask to be seated after getting stared at for 5 minutes. Sat there for 15 minutes with no water, no waitress, no acknowledgement at all. Employees just standing around talking with each other. We left and will never go back.

Ordered a pepper Jack sourdough sandwich but got Jack. The cheese was old looking like it sat in window for 10 minutes. It was gross but ate most of it anyway since it was late and needed to start my drive home and had no more time to wait in more lines. They offer pepper Jack throughout their menu so I thought it would be no problem. I didn’t complain and figured this review would be best. Seems it’s hard to get what sounds good at a restaurant; I wouldn’t bother stopping in there for food if they can’t accommodate a different cheese. I was willing to pay more too but instead ate some bland food that was greasy without much flavor. I’ll pay for it tomorrow. And didn’t even enjoy it.

We were very disappointed with our experience at the Golden Harvest Cafe at the Nugget. After a long day of traveling, we were hoping for a delicious meal but unfortunately, that was not the case. The service was slow and inattentive, with a 10-minute wait before we were seated. Although our food arrived quickly, we were not checked on until after we finished our meal. The quality of the food was mediocre at best, with the steak being the only decent dish. The "large house fries" were just regular fries and the vegetables were watery and unappetizing. If I ever find myself in West Wendover again, I will definitely choose a different restaurant to dine at.
