Wish I could rate this higher but pretty well everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Food took forever and was over sauced ordered Spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were small and tough and way too much cream sauce. Prices for a bottle of wine were crazy and then 50% off so no real deal there. Lots of promise but lots to fix up prior. I came for Mother’s Day brunch. I felt like I was in an episode of kitchen nightmares with Gordon Ramsay. Chef yelling at the server, 50% of the menu not available, cinnamon buns from Costco. The experience was interesting, don’t really know how else to describe it. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Had a reservation for mother days. Did not state it was a set menu. Reso for 130 and they told us we had to have the brunch set menu. 1 out of 3 options was not available (which most our table wanted) food took 1hr 15mins and came cold and missing ingredients. They than told us its because it's late to order brunch. EVEN though we asked for their regular menu and they said NO. Awful costumer service. Ruined our mothers day. We all left starving
Lesson learned to not rely on google reviews. Very slow service, we asked for drip coffee but halfway through our meal we noticed her about to start making Americano (sorry it 's just not the same so we cancelled it we had already waited about half an hour for it. Food very expensive for what you are getting (portion and quality wise . Fresh fruits were not fresh at all (strawberried were brown... . I asked for a toast with my eggs and we got a basket of garlic bread?? We sent it back. Overall I am surprised we didn 't just walk out right away but looking at the reviews I was hoping for at least a friendly vibe and good coffee. We got neither. To their credit the owner came over to apologize and offered us free coffee to go or a gift certificate to come back.. She said this had never happened before but looking at yelp reviews it looks like that isn 't true at all. If you are understaffed then just inform your customer when they walk in, if you don 't have what they ask for just tell them instead of just sending something our way and if you don 't have fresh fruit then please don 't serve it to us.
Great place if you like slow service and spoiled fruit. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: CA$20–30
