This place is awesome!!! Amazing customer service and the ice cream is delish!!! We showed up at 10pm and the open sign was still on but the lights were out. We rang the bell for service just to check and the employees came out and said they were closed, but they would make us some since the open sign was on without us even asking! They were awesome and so nice to us!! And the ice cream was so bomb! Highly recommend!

Although Yelp marks this business as closed, it is not actually closed. It is operating with reduced hours, call ahead ordering, no contact payment, and pickup only. The seating area is closed and you can't order at the walk-up window, you have to call and place an order at 801-972-5582. They are open from 11-8 Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 11-9 Friday and Saturday, 11-7 on Sunday. Closed on Tuesdays.

Even though the dining room is closed right now, the service from the staff is excellent as always and the food I ordered today was fantastic. I had a fairly complicated order and they got everything 100% correct. My food was delicious and piping hot. I called my order in, paid for it with a credit card and 15 minutes later picked it up at the West window. There are a lot of new Mexican restaurants in the area but I will always go to Sylvestre's when I want excellent authentic Mexican food that is served lightning fast and where the staff goes out of their way to make me feel comfortable and valued.

Its so amazing! Me and my family went before and during COVID-19! It was very clean inside! If your looking for a creamy ice cream that is the place for you! I've also gotten the Oreo one both times and I have been pleased with it both times! Just all it's been amazing!
