Powers - West Springfield
Powers
Description
Powers stands out as a quintessential New England dive bar, blending warmth and familiarity with a lively atmosphere. While some patrons appreciate its charming staff and clean facilities, others have voiced concerns regarding service, particularly the refusal to provide water without a drink purchase. Inconsistent experiences hint at a divide between customers; some relish the cozy, inviting ambiance, while others are put off by perceived rudeness. Overall, Powers remains a local favorite, especially for those seeking a casual spot for drinks and camaraderie.

This is just an ordinary neighborhood dive bar. It has an older crowd, outdated decor, and only accepts cash. I wouldn't suggest this spot for anyone younger than 60. I don't think I'll be returning...
The bartenders were not particularly friendly, and the restrooms were quite dirty. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
