My friend Joyce and I decided to enjoy a drink or two to end our evening. We were seated right away, and chips and salsa arrived within minutes. I also ordered queso dip, but it could have been a bit thicker as it had a somewhat watery consistency. Our waiter was outstanding, keeping our drinks full, and the food we had was excellent as well. The people here were great (Employees). We did not have much time and they were very accommodating. The food was super. I did not take any photos of the food as we were in a hurry.
I wasn't feeling for barbecue, so when I saw this place when I was passing through West Point, I got an instant craving for Mexican. Who would expect it on US-45 in a third tier MS city? Good, quick, just what I needed for pit stop and get back on the road. Got the tamal and enchilada platter, no rice extra beans. Next time through town I want to check out the Howlin' Wolf Museum.
First time visit while driving home for the holidays. Service was great for the most part. I ordered the pollo and peppers with the poblabo cream sauce. The chicken was very tender, portion size perfect, and sauce had a great flavor. My husband's tacos el carbon were very bland, however, and the steak over cooked. But, we would try it again.
We had the Fiesta Bowls for lunch today. They were mostly good. They were a base of salad with beautified onions, mushrooms and paprika with shrimps or chickens. The chicken had a great help from boiled spinach above. We didn't care about the hot prepared food on the salad. It cooks the salad. Otherwise good with good service.
Love this family restaurant. Always friendly and attentive.
