We were staying in the area overnight and settled on Wagamama for dinner. We were very lucky to get a table as they were very busy but after a short wait we were shown to a table for two. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and we didn't have long to wait for our food. We shared a Chilli Squid dish, while I had Chicken and Prawn Pad Thai and Mr Sc had Hot Chicken Katsu Curry. What Jason S doesn't like about Wagamama:
Having been a huge Wagamama’s fan, was very disappointed in my recent experience. Service was slow but for me the real disappointment was the very poor quality food. Chilli Squid starter was pretty bland the Chicken Katsu curry was awful quality of the chicken was nasty and to the point where I left part of my meal which was a first at this chain. The accompanying salad was also pretty underwhelming. I had a similar... View all feedback.
Not one was here, but was glad I returned. eating was good as expected, but I still don't like the things that the bank is. a few partitions made a difference.
Wagamama Livingston. The staff, especially Daria and Euan, were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations for new dishes. The service was fast and friendly.
I went to this restaurant for the first time with my sister, and we were both blown away. The staff were extremely kind and explained everything well, and our order came quickly. The food was amazing. I tried the pulled pork gyoza as a side, and it had a unique taste that I wasn't expecting, but it was delicious. I also had the tropical juice, which had some bits in it, but I didn't mind. My sister and I shared a hot katsu curry, which was just the right portion size for us. It was spicy, but not too overwhelming. My sister ordered the tama squid, which was crispy and tasty, even though she's not a big fan of seafood. She also had an iced coffee, but needed to add sugar to enjoy it. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that we will definitely be returning to.

I had a similar experience in this chain’s Belfast restaurant recently which I put down to a one off but seems the quality and standards have dropped as significantly as the prices have risen. Probably will be my last visit which is a shame.
