Called in intending to dine, ordered a pint of the only real ale on offer and was served seven/eighths of a pint with a very frothy top. My request for a top-up was not well received, but carried out grudgingly. The locals were enjoying themselves, some of them were extremely well refreshed. Wow!......what a little gem. Guinness was to die for. My partners red wine was very good as well. Food was a Fantastic surprise...... My Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection....not an ounce of gristle on it It came with onion rings/mushrooms/fries and a lovely side salad. We visited the ingleby arms and the food was brilliant, good value for money and the staff were so friendly, we will be back, thats a promise.
