The Sandpiper was fine but they had to squeeze the 5 seats in because unfortunately the booking from Open Table was never received by them. This could have turned embarrassing because it was Mothers Day and two mums were present. View all feedback.
What Konstantinos Forster doesn't like about The Sandpiper:
Cant fault FOH staff great service! Food however not so great, ribeye steak mostly fat. Beef bouginon very rich and also full of fat. Decor beautiful in its rustic country vive but definitely due a rerurb as walls not so clean. View all feedback.
The food was warm when it arrived, we waited for a while for our 2nd round of drinks we ordered coffee with the little desserts these arrived when we had finished our coffees only ask if it was a new cook
2 of 4 meals were cold and bad customer service from the manager
We had the three course set menu, everything was nice, except the salad in my starter, which was brown around the edges! Beverages were also quite expensive, otherwise good value for money.
It was in the process of closing for a refit. foods not up to their normal standard
Birthday lunch was a real letdown. Poor boil in the bag type food and very poor quality thick black coffee. We will not be returning.
