I went for Sunday lunch while staying nearby on holiday. The food was lovely and the service was great, even though it was quite busy. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go again if I was in the area and would recommend a visit.
Good tasty home cooked meals, delish! And good value
This pub is very friendly and welcoming, with great parking. I highly recommend it.
Cracking little pub. Lovely helpful staff. Proper pub food. Beer on point. Ate here on Saturday and came back on Sunday for the roast. Thankyou to all for the hospitality!
Visited whilst house hunting inn the area, great food, very friendly landlord. Friendly locals. Can't wait to move in to the village
Dining at this restaurant reveals a confusing dichotomy. While some patrons praise the warm ambiance and attentive service, highlighting particularly enjoyable meals like Sunday roasts and traditional dishes, others lament overpriced, subpar food accompanied by poor service. The diverse menu caters to dietary restrictions, earning points for inclusivity. However, the dining experience suffers from inconsistent quality and outdated decor. Notably, a few love the dog-friendly vibe and riverfront seating, recommending it for casual outings. Ultimately, this establishment promises excellent service and delightful meals for some, yet leaves others disappointed and urging diners to explore alternatives.

This charming English country pub offers delicious traditional food, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place.
We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. The menu had a great selection and the prices were reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and fantastic.
We had a fantastic lunch with 14 of us girls. The staff were excellent and everything we ordered was piping hot and delicious. Well done to all of you, we would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you.
The restaurant offers excellent food, service, and atmosphere at a great value. One member of our group described the pie as the best they had ever tasted, while I thought the battered cod and chips could win a prize on Masterchef. We will definitely be returning.
Proper homemade Sunday roast and puddings, Pork with crackling and finish with treacle tart and cream. Very Friendly and helpful staff made this a lovely Sunday outing . Well done

The food at this restaurant is extremely expensive and not worth it. I would recommend going to a different restaurant instead. The food quality is not good and overall, I do not recommend dining here. The price per person ranges from £20–30. The food, service, and atmosphere all received low ratings, with a 1 for food quality and 2 for both service and atmosphere.
Limited street parking is available, so be cautious of parking wardens. The price per person ranges from £40 to £50. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 4 out of 5. Highly recommended dishes include the Traditional Breakfast, Pizzas, and Eggs Benedict. Finding parking can be a challenge, but there are options for free street parking nearby.
This restaurant is a typical Wetherspoons, delivering what you'd expect. The average price per person ranges from £10 to £20.
Been a customer many years but the food is over priced junk. And as for the attitude of the staff here-AWFUL!!! I went for ONE small glass of merlot then got told I could not have anymore!! In which dimension does THAT make SENSE??!! What a ridiculous thing to do to me. I will NEVER visit the dump again!! Vegetarian options: I've turned vegetarian recently and am looking forward to trying some of the dishes available Dietary restrictions: Nice how they cater for everyone's individual needs Parking: No comment. Neither myself or my partner or friends would drink and drive. So n.a Kid-friendliness: I don't think children should be around alcohol Wheelchair accessibility: I have friends who use wheelchairs. This is the best pub and restaurant in town for easy access for them Price per person: £100+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Traditional Breakfast, Burgers, Toast, Fish and Chips, Pizzas Parking space: Not sure
