What User doesn't like about Morrisons Cafe Tavistock:
The breakfast was ok but the plates were stone cold. I was surprised that porridge was off the menu when this is a well stocked supermarket. I asked for an extra teabag as I like builders tea and was charged for another pot must...remember to bring my own as I don't normally pay for one teabag! View all feedback.

During our visit to my daughter in Cornwall, we decided to grab a bite to eat. We chose Morrisons in the south of England because it is fast and clean. The lasagna and salad were fantastic, with the salad being freshly cut and beautiful. On Saturday morning, we stopped for breakfast and had a sausage roll that was full of well-cooked sausage. I was impressed with the quality of the food at this supermarket cafe, it was really nice.
The service was slow, the food was lukewarm, and the tables were dirty. The staff seemed too busy to chat as they worked behind the counter.
When we went through tavistock on our way to home, we decided to stop shopping and eating at morrisons as it was at pm. I waited for the switch until an assistant came to me. I said I wanted to order and. I was told to do it by then. two assistants came behind the counter and went away without seeing me. Finally, the same assistent came, who had led me to the time to take my order! then I was told that I couldn't order an all-day brunch (though probably one of the most popular meal times on the menu, as there was no speck this day. after we have just completed our purchase in the store, including speck, could some not have been bought or transferred to the caffe from instore? After getting our meal, I must say that both were very nice (sausage and egg, fish chips) I sat with a look at theke and what happened behind it. there is no dedicated “non-food handling” member of the staff. a dame seemed to take over the entire cooking time and was only concerned with it. all other assistent man the cash, serve customers, wait for the tables and help to place the food. I saw an assistent go from the handling of up to, including cash payment, straight to brot and butter to prepare burger in a bungalow that she treated as well as chips on the teller with her hands. I don't know the hygienic rating for the caffe, but it wouldn't have been a must at our visit.
