Had lunch today at Hana Ramensushi, We started with Spicy Edamame , and Yellowtail Jalapeno appetizer great choices recommended by J. We then ordered the Shrimp Tempura and Chicken Ramen, both had amazing flavor and plenty of food for the 3 of us. We couldn't leave without having few spicy sushi rolls, all were great . First, know we haven't had a lot of ramen and sushi isn't our thing. We were being adventurous. The few other local Ramen places we've gone to were better. For us. I hate leaving mediocre reviews based on the flavors we aren't super familiar with. The broth had a weird sweet undertone we didn't care for. The service was quick and the portions were big. Absolutely love this place. One of my favorite places to eat out in Des Moines (West Des Moines to be more exact). Their signature ramen is always great, flavorful and plentiful. The sushi is excellent, no matter what we’ve tried. LOL, and my wife loves the fruity drinks too.Food: 5/5
The ambiance is really cool. Lots to see in every direction. Even the restroom is unique. Pictires on TV of menu items help plan your next visit. Service through the meal was top notch with Kari as my server. (thank you I had Udon with Katsu broth with chicken, crab and veggies and shrimp tempura on side( came with it Priced perfect and I was in another world from the first bite. If you enjoy ramen, broth makes it...this was really perfect and hit the spot!Vegetarian options: There is a veggie only ramen bowl
There ramens are really good! The broth are very rich and there’s eggs are perfectly cooked. Also ordered eel avocado hand roll, very tasty with less rice to give you flavorish sushi without filling ur stomach too quickly. Def one of my best Ramen in Des Moines.Food: 5/5
We went here for the first time for my daughter's 18th birthday. We had a party of 5 and 4 of us has been throwing up. Food tasted off and we are feeling the affects of it. Three if us had sushi and two had ramen. Our waiter was awesome. Overall the place was a bit loud to talk, but nice. We will not be back.Food: 1/5
